Fairy, but with a twist

Yet more fairies. Well, yes, but with a twist as I made this using more blue and beige. I also wanted to enter the Sketch and Stash challenge with the fab layour that they have this week, and the Spoonful of Sugar challenge that is also running. That one is for lots of layers and I certainly used lots on this card. The card is again made with my soon to be released fairy images so keep on looking and as soon as they are ready you will be the first to know.

Stained Glass window card

Stained Glass window card is my choice for the latest challenge on Our Creative Corner. They have a challenge for blue and green so I thought that this fitted the bill really well. I made it some time ago but I was keeping it for something special and this challenge really is something special.
I wanted to be the first to enter. I really get a kick out of that. So silly, I know but indulge me.

Now, don't be fooled into thinking that I've put on any stitching. It's dots made with the pen. Quick and simple. Makes up for the age that I took to colour in the stamped image.

I know that you are going to want to buy it immediately so go to Craft Fairy now to get it. It's the beautiful Stained Glass Flower stamp.

And now for a gift bag

The current challenge on Our Creative Corner is for 3D projects so this is what I've decided to make. After a spat of cards, I decided to return to my earlier love and that is the gift bag. So here is the party fairy on a quick and easy gift bag.
The beautiful hot pink gingham ribbon is just in and just £1.50 for 3 metres.

Are you dying to get your hands on these Images?

Favourite colour combo

This challenge from Everybody Art challenge 72 is no hardship as I'm only too delighted to make a card in my favourite colours. Who isn't? So off we go with....

A pink card!!!

To make this card I used my stash papers but the cute little stamp is one of my favourites too. It's a silhouette stamp but as you can see, I've used colours on it to give it definition. Pinks natch.

This is the stamp in the raw and it can be bought by clicking on the image.

Allsorts challenge week 28

Allsorts challenge week 28 is an inspirational one entitled

Christmas carol or a song title....!

What more could one ask at this Christmas time so I've entitled mine

Mistletoe and Wine

Readers, please note that she's holding the Mistletoe and she's already been on the wine.

I know that you are going to want to make this card so you will need the Mrs Santa stamp to get yourself going.

I also used the fabulous and now 'seen on tv' Art and Graphic pens from Kuretake. Colours used. 2, for the dress, 207 for the skin and 50 for the mistletoe.

The lace border was punched with a fiskars border punch.

The Merry Christmas is a stamp from I Brake foe Stamps.

The green and white paper is Jolly Holly dotted lines from Doodlebug.

Now get on and make the card by:

Cutting a base card 150cm x 150cm. I used white card for this.

Cut a strip of heavy red paper and adhere to the bottom third of the card.

Punch a lace border with the Fiskars border punch and layer over the red paper and adhere.

Layer on a strip of Jollyt Holly dotted lines paper and adhere.

Stamp the Mrs. Santa stamp onto white card and colour in with the Art and Graphic pens.

Mount on to Red card and adhere to the base card as shown.

Stamp the sentiment down the left hand side of the base card.

Punch out some circles of card and stick to the base card as shown.

Thread a red button with some green satin ribbon and tie in a knot. Adhere to the base card with foam pads.

Love Larry for a birthday card

I've just made this card for the Allsorts challenge 17, which, this week, is for something for the boys card. I admit that is not your conventional card but I've never let that bother me. He's made using the Love Larry stamp from 'I Brake for Stamps' which can be seen here.

Isn't he a total hoot.

Now for something completely different

This card is not pink or particularly pretty but it is quirky. I like quirky so this is what I've come up with for the challenge over on Charisma Cardz Challenges and the Stamp Something Challenge and Cute Card Thursday. Nothing like killing three birds as it were. There was no theme on some but this card really suited the challenge on the other two blogs.

I have just coloured this stamp up for the web site and for sale at the Art Stamps fair at Newbury nekt week so it was just waiting to be used.

Materials used:

Biker Bob unmounted rubber stamp from I Brake for Stamps.

Brown saddle stitch ribbon.

Stars

The challenge on Our Creative Corner is for 'Stars'. Now I have some primitive stars so I thought that I'd give it a go. This is my take on the challege.

The stamp is from I Brake for Stamps and the bits of ribbon are from my personal stash.

Stampin Chic

When the ladies on Stampin Chic set out the challenge for a creation that contained 'NO WHITE' they must have had me in mind as many of my cards always contain white. This, then, really is a challege for me so this is what I've come up with:

If you want to make this card you will need:

Florals and Leaves sheet of unmounted rubber stamps from I Brake for Stamps.

Zig, Kuretake, Art and Graphic pens in 56, 57 and 73

Paper raffia in Oatmeal

Buttons

Papers

Happy crafting,

Yvonne

Oriental Lily all in Pink

Here's a new card from one of my favourite images on the Cartes postal Stamps sheet. It also uses some of the new blooms so it really serves two purposes as it let me be creative on two fronts.

To make this card you will need:
1 pink base card 140mm x 140mm
Some green patterned paper
Length of pink dotty ribbon
Blooms from the Romance Collection
Inspirational Sayings Unmounted rubber stamp
Cartes Postal Unmounted rubber stamp
2 buttons
Tut Art and Graphic pens in colours: 57, 202, 305
Waterbrush
Stazon in Stone Grey
3D foam pads
Glue

What you need to do
Use the Stazon to stamp out the oriental lily image.
Colour up the image with a waterbrush and the Tut Art and Graphic pens in colours: 57, 202, 305
Trim the image
Stick a piece of green paper across the card and then stick the pink spotty ribbon onto the card as shown.
Use the foam pads to attach the image to the card and then use glue and foam pads to layer the flowers of your choice to the card.
Add a button to the centre of the bloom.
Adhere a larger button to the card, as shown, and stamp your message on to the card.
Happy crafting,
Yvonne
